Joaquín Jiménez Rubio, co-founder of Ayuela Jimenez, is a leading lawyer specialising in Economic Criminal Law and Compliance. He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, completed a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy at the same university and specialised in criminal procedural law at the Madrid Bar Association.

With an outstanding professional and academic career, in which he has obtained several awards, Joaquín is the partner in charge of the Economic Criminal Law and Compliance Department. He has been involved in some of the most mediatic criminal proceedings in our country, and has participated in numerous cases in the Audiencia Nacional, where he defends executives and large national and foreign companies.

Joaquín is also an associate lecturer at several universities, such as the European University and the University of Navarra, where he teaches on expert courses in Compliance and Corporate Criminal Law, as well as on the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession with a specialisation in Criminal Law.

He is also a guest lecturer at the Sergio Arboleda University in Colombia and at the Peruvian and International Law Institute His teaching experience reflects his commitment to the training and development of new generations of lawyers.
