At Ayuela Jiménez, we specialise in arbitration and have extensive experience in resolving disputes in both national and international arbitration courts. We act as independent arbitrators if agreed, as co-arbitrators, or as appointees of the institutions we participate in.

Recognised courts in Spain and abroad

Our team of lawyers participates in arbitration proceedings under the rules of the most recognised arbitration institutions in Spain and abroad, including the International Arbitration Centre of Madrid (CIAM) for conflicts in Latin America and Europe, and the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce.

Other arbitration courts in which we participate include the Spanish Arbitration Court, one of the oldest institutions in the country for the resolution of commercial and civil disputes, and the Civil and Mercantile Arbitration Court (CIMA). We also participate in the Arbitration Court of ICAM, which is part of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid.

Strategic dispute resolution

Our lawyers bring a strategic approach, offering tailored solutions that align with the interests of each client. We don’t follow a single protocol; instead, we seek the most suitable option for your business. As arbitrators or advisors in arbitration proceedings, we ensure that the process is fair and swift, delivering a resolution that benefits both parties.

Internationally applicable solutions

Arbitration courts are a much faster alternative to traditional trials for resolving disputes, allowing conflicts to be resolved in a significantly shorter time to maintain relationships and competitiveness in the market. Additionally, throughout the procedure, sensitive information and the interests of the parties involved remain protected.

Furthermore, the resulting arbitration awards are internationally enforceable, recognised and can be applied in over 160 countries under the New York Convention, regardless of the legal differences between jurisdictions.
